It is a defining moment in America. Join us February 5th, 2009 and make the National Teach-In a day that can transform America, and place clean energy solutions to global warming at the top of the nation's agenda. We will engage Americans in solutions-driven dialogue. Now, together, we must decide if our children will inherit from us a prosperous or an impoverished planet.
President Elect Obama will face a critical window for action in the first 100 days when a new path to a stable climate can be set. But to overcome gridlock in Washington there must be overwhelming grassroots support. Check out our Campus Voice SolMates and listen in on the weekly Organizing Call-Ins.

"We have forgotten how to be good guests, how to walk lightly on the earth as its other creatures do."
~Barbara Ward, ( 1914-1981) British economist, writer, pioneer of sustainable development
Our daily actions can increase or decrease the impact on our earth - we have personal meters running at all times. What we use, what we leave behind can be calculated as our cost to the earth. The good news is, it's never too late to make a difference. For instance, we can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 4,800 pounds per year just by recycling the aluminum cans, glass bottles, plastic, cardboard and newspaper we use.
We hope as we travel this path together, you will share your ideas about how we can help one another step a little lighter.
Steps to Leaving a Lighter Footprint
1) Go vegan
3) Reuse, recycle, reduce paper consumption!
6) Switch to flourescent light bulbs
