"Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself."
-Leo Tolstoy

The idea for the SOL Tour all started with Woody and his brothers talking about taking a long bike trip together. As they were planning the trip they thought it might be fun to stop and talk with people along the way about the things they are passionate about. It seemed to make sense to have a bus follow them. Once they started designing the bus they realized they wanted to create a completely eco-sustainable vehicle - to be able to have the bus run on hemp oil instead of petroleum, to use solar panels as the power source and to outfit the interior with sustainable materials. Suddenly the bus, which they now lovingly refer to as the Mothership became the model for the message.

Our SOL Tour documentary “GO FURTHER,” directed by Toronto based Ron Mann, premiered at the SXSW Film Festival in Austin, TX. Because Ron worked the final 48 hours mixing the sound for the film without sleep and didn’t finish until 11pm the night before the scheduled screening, it was the first time any of us saw it too. When the final credits rolled along side a solo acoustic performance by Dave Matthews (thank you, Dave!), we all jumped to our feet with excitement along with the rest of the audience. Having immediate interaction with everyone after the screenings made our SOL tour and our trip to Austin that much more gratifying. Glimpse a few mintues of this wildride "Go Further." You see Woody, his family and friends revel in the joy of it all.

You can watch a junk food freak out in "snack attack" with Steve "Jedi" Clark, will temptation get the better of him? Enjoy a musical interlude of The Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Road Trippin." Together they plant the seeds of activism and offer people hope for change.

See the spills and thrills in action>
